  • Distilled white vinegar – Apply the vinegar on the acne area for about five to ten minutes. Then rinse it thoroughly with cool water. You can dilute the vinegar with some water if you find it a bit too strong.
  • Echinacea and Oregon grape – These two herbs are used for boosting the body’s immune system and fighting many acne-causing bacteria.
  • Vitamin A – When used in large quantities, vitamin A is used to successfully treat some severe forms of acne. However, please consult your physician before proceeding as large dosages of vitamin A can be toxic.
  • Zinc – Zinc can aid in the healing of acne lesions and preventing scarring.
